AgOTC Conference Call To Discuss Shipping Concerns

The Agriculture Ocean Transportation Coalition (AgOTC) has scheduled a conference call at 10 a.m. (PDT) July 11 with PierPass management to discuss upcoming PierPass export procedures for Los Angeles and Long Beach ports that could create issues for some agriculture exporters.

PierPass also has questions it would like to ask agriculture shippers. The goal is to eliminate as many disruptions as possible before the new procedures go into effect in August.

Please convey specific concerns to AgOTC. All concerns will be added to an anonymous list (the name of the person asking the question will not be disclosed) and conveyed to PierPass managers next week, so that they can be prepared for the call.
