Import Certificates Prior To June 30 Acceptable Until August 31

The Food Safety And Inspection Service (FSIS) has updated its online FSIS Export Library of Requirements to read that U.S. beef products are ineligible for export to Indonesia, but export certificates “can be issued if the exporter presents a copy of an import permit issued by the Indonesian Directorate of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture, that is dated no later than June 30, 2005. Product must arrive in Indonesia prior to August 31, 2005.”
