FSIS Resumes Issuance Of Export Certificates For Beef To Indonesia

As we reported earlier, the Food Safety And Inspection Service (FSIS) has resumed issuing exports for beef and beef products, according to the online FSIS Library of Export Requirements. Since then, the language in the library has been updated to say that “Boneless beef, beef hearts, and beef livers” are eligible.

Once again, please note especially: Although FSIS recognizes the eligibility of all Federally inspected establishments, exporters are advised to confirm the eligibility of the producing establishment with their importer.

For more information, contact Paul Clayton (pclayton@usmef.org) or Ann Spaeth (aspaeth@usmef.org), 303-623-6328.
