Patience Wearing Thin With U.S. Beef Documentation Errors

The online FSIS Export Library of Requirements has been updated to say that product arriving in Hong Kong will not be cleared unless accompanied by the new FSIS Hong Kong certificate (FSIS Form 9297-1) and the updated Letterhead Certificate for the Export of Beef and Beef Products to Hong Kong. The Hong Kong authorities have complained of many paperwork problems, and future errors could threaten U.S. beef’s eligibility.
