New Requirements For Beef Exports To Guatemala

Companies exporting to Guatemala should check the online FSIS Library of Export Requirements. Guatemala already required that beef come only from animals aged 30 months or less, but the Central American nation now mandates U.S. beef must come from one of the following cuts: 

Tri-tip, culotte, outside skirt, inside skirt, tenderloin, flap meat, strip loin, sirloin cap, center cut sirloin, eye of round, outside round, knuckle, flank, short ribs, top blade.
