FSIS: Exporters Warned To Take Extra Care With Documentation

The USDA’s Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS) has posted a warning in the Export Library for exporters to be especially careful when preparing export documents for products shipped to Russia to avoid additional costs and possible rejection at ports of entry. Russian officials are rejecting FSIS correction letters for inadvertent errors on meat and poultry certificates.
