Russia Threatens To Suspend EU Meat Imports
Head of the Russian veterinary service Sergey Dankvert issued a statement Wednesday saying Russia might suspend the import of meat from the European Union as of January 1 2007, when Bulgaria and Romania, whose meat is banned in Russia, will be joining the E.U.
