FSIS Advises Exporters To Be Mindful Of Certificate Dates

FSIS advises that U.S. exporters sending product to the European Union (EU) should verify that the shipping date on any export certificate or accompanying shipping documents does not precede the FSIS signature date on the certificate. Failure to do so can result in the shipment detained at the EU Port of Entry.

For more information, see the Export Requirements for the European Union in the FSIS Export Library.
