EU Makes Changes to Letterhead Certificates

USMEF members exporting to the European Union (EU) should check the online Export Libraryfor the latest changes in the requirements. Among other changes, the EU now wants both “Total Gross Weight” and “Total Net Weight” on the letterhead certificates for beef and bison; pork; fresh meat of wild boar; and meat products and treated stomachs, along with the appropriate HS codes.
