Egypt Beef Information Online

The export information for Egypt, which opened its market to U.S. beef last week, is now on the FSIS Export Library of Requirements. The agreement, according to a USDA press release, requires age and origin requirements under a USDA Agricultural Marketing Service Beef Export Verification (BEV) program.  Plants can add information on Egypt to existing Mexico-Canada BEV programs and re-submit to the Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS).
