Early Bird, Hotel Registration Deadlines – This Friday, October 11

Published: Oct 08, 2013
This Friday, Oct. 11, is the deadline to receive the early bird rate for the USMEF Strategic Planning Conference and to register at the group rate at the Omni Ft. Worth Hotel.

The annual USMEF Strategic Planning Conference, scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 5-7, at the Omni Ft. Worth Hotel, is an ideal opportunity to get an international view on issues of timely importance to the U.S. red meat industry including:
  • Trade policy – how is it affecting market access for U.S. exports?
  • Global economic growth – where are the top growth markets?
  • Animal welfare – how do global standards affect U.S. production practices?
  • Consumer preferences – what are the trends in our top export markets?

Other highlights include economist and futurist Jay Lehr, who will elaborate on the Global Trends Impacting the Future of Food & Agriculture. In addition, individual committee meetings will allow you to hear from USMEF's international directors about issues and current events taking place in our important export markets.

After the meetings, discover the artistic masterpieces of the Fort Worth Cultural District, explore the true American West in the Stockyards National Historic District or shop and dine in the 35-block Sundance Square, one of the most exciting downtown areas in the nation.

Register before Oct. 11 to receive the “early bird” registration discount. We look forward to seeing you in Texas!
