Draft USMEF Strategic Plan Now Available Online

Dear USMEF members,

It is our pleasure to share with you the final draft of the USMEF Strategic Plan 2022-2026.

The Strategic Planning Task Force and USMEF staff have worked diligently since our kick-off meeting in February 2021 gaining insights from industry thought leaders, engaging in robust discussions and sharing the draft plan with key personnel from USMEF’s nine sectors to identify issues and trends critical to the future of U.S. red meat exports. Based on this collective point of view, the Task Force, Executive Committee and staff developed a strategic plan to drive the efforts of the organization.

We would like to thank the Task Force members who served with us: Greg Ahart, John Bellinger, Wanda Blair, Steve Hanson, Steve Isaf, Kevin Kester, Danita Rodibaugh, Bruce Schmoll and USMEF Secretary/Treasurer Randy Spronk, as well as Kevin Ochsner with AgCellerate LLC for facilitating this process.

Please review the plan provided in the link above and, if you are a voting board member representative, be prepared to vote on it during the Business Session at the Strategic Planning Conference on Nov. 12, 2021. The Task Force and Executive Committee believe this plan outlines a path forward for USMEF and our industry, and we look forward to your support.
