USMEF Members Invited To Participate In Seminars
Two seminars organized by USMEF, U.S. Dairy Export Council, U.S. Poultry and Egg Export Council and California Wines will take place in the Dominican Republic in mid-July. USMEF members are invited to participate by supplying meat products used for cooking during the seminars or by featuring products in trade shows following the seminars.
“It is through efforts like these that USMEF quickly builds key relationships and supports purchases of U.S. red meat to leverage new opportunities created by the recently-approved free trade agreement between the United States and the Dominican Republic,” said Chad Russell, USMEF regional director of Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
A foodservice seminar July 17 at the Paradisus Palma Real Resort Hotel in Punta Cana will be held for importers, distributors, chefs and managers. A retail seminar July 19 at the Hilton Hotel in Santo Domingo will be held for importers, retail distributors, supermarket managers and deli-counter personnel. Each seminar will be four hours long. A food service seminar is also planned July 19 in Santo Domingo and details will be sent when they are available.
To participate in any of the seminars or for more information, contact USMEF Mexico HRI Manager Adriana Cadena at acadena@usmef.org.mx by July 10.
