USMEF Seminar Connects U.S. Meat Suppliers With Cuban Distributors

U.S. meat suppliers are in Havana today (Aug. 10) to participate in a two-day USMEF seminar to help Cuban distributors learn more about different U.S. meat cuts, grades, attributes and qualities.

U.S. meat suppliers are exhibiting products and supplying information to potential distributors who are ready to purchase U.S. pork and beef products.

USMEF is accompanying U.S. meat suppliers on a meat processing plant tour so suppliers can better understand production practices and products produced in Cuba.

USMEF and ALIMPORT, the food import agency in Cuba, worked together to organize this event.
