China Announces Plant Delistings

Effective August 3, 2009, China has suspended imports from three U.S. pork establishments due to findings of residues or pathogens.  Exporters are reminded that China maintains a zero tolerance for beta agonists such as ractopamine hydrochloride and for pathogens such as Salmonella sp. and Listeria monocytogenes.  To view the establishments that have been suspended, please see the FSIS Library of Export Requirements at: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/Regulations_&_Policies/China_Requirements/index.asp
