USMEF Members Invited To Meet With Key Industry Representatives
USMEF members are invited to attend a reception organized by USMEF, USDA and the U.S. Embassy on Sept. 12 in Santiago at the Salón Sur y Centroamérica Intercontinental Hotel to generate interest in U.S. red meat. Members will be able to discuss business and issues with key Chilean meat industry leaders, traders, government officials and media.
Nelson Huerta, USMEF Mexico director of technical services, will present unique attributes of U.S. meat and will explain the U.S. grading system and compare it to the Chilean grading system. To facilitate trade, promotional and technical brochures explaining and comparing the grading systems will be available at the reception.
A U.S. chef will prepare U.S. meat dishes to be served at the reception for guests to taste and enjoy.
A list of those attending the reception will be available to members interested in participating prior to the event. USMEF also can assist with logistics issues such as hotel recommendations and other travel concerns.
If you are interested in attending the reception or would like more information, contact Ricardo Vernazza-Paganini, USMEF director, Central & South America and Global Strategic Coordination, at (303) 623-6328 or rvernazza-paganini@usmef.org.
