Chef Sabrina Teaches and Judges in Russian Far East
USMEF ASEAN Director Sabrina Yin will teach two master-chef classes Sept. 12 and 13 at the V Primorie Culinary Festival in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. As a master chef, Sabrina will also judge the skills of competing chefs. Her classes will cover U.S. pork, U.S. beef and alternative cuts for chefs.
Sabrina’s participation is an example of the nature of USMEF’s worldwide organization and the close collaboration of its international offices. The competition will be hosted by USMEF-Russia.
The Vladivostok Times (www.vladivostoktimes.com) headlined Sabrina’s participation (“Skills of Far-Eastern Cooks Will Be Estimated by Chef-Consultant from Singapore”), detailing her extensive qualifications and worldwide experience as a chef.
Competitors from all over the Far East will take part in the festival’s six contests. Sabrina leads an international jury of chefs from Australia, Italy, Japan and Russia.
The festival’s “Far-Eastern hospitality-2008” exhibition is expected to attract thousands of chefs, hotel and restaurant owners and investors.
