Central America

Beef Exported To Belize Now Requires LT30 EV Program

Effective immediately, eligible beef destined for Belize must be derived from cattle less than 30 months of age produced under the LT30 Export Verification (EV) Program. Therefore, participation in the LT30 EV Program is required to export beef to Belize. Products eligible for export are boneless beef, offal and beef products.

The Official Listing of Eligible Suppliers to USDA Bovine EV Programs also will be updated to include Belize in the LT30 EV Program. Companies that would like to participate in this program or have questions about it should contact ARCBranch@usda.gov.

For more information, see Export Requirements for Belize in the FSIS Export Library.
