BermudaGourmet Getaway Offers USMEF Members Product Exposure
USMEF is teaming up with USA Poultry and Egg Export Council, U.S. Dairy Export Council and the Wine Institute to promote U.S. food products at a pavilion event during the Bermuda Gourmet Getaway weekend Oct. 28-29. The exhibition tents are open to the public for sampling products, tasting wine and watching local chef cook-offs. There will also be cooking demonstrations featuring eight guest celebrity chefs, including Bobby Flay, a host of several Food Network shows and owner of several renowned restaurants.
USMEF will sponsor shipment of U.S. meat samples for this event and welcomes USMEF members to attend. USMEF members can take advantage of a special hotel rate and various packages for Getaway attractions, such as a “Grill and Chill” event at the Bermuda aquarium and zoo, a gala dinner with Bobby Flay, a chance to meet with wine makers and firsthand looks at area restaurant menu promotions.
