Bahamas Seminar In March

The U.S. Embassy in Nassau is sponsoring a Bahamas Chamber of Commerce business development seminar on March 23-24 for any companies interested in starting up a business in the Bahamas. All franchise companies interested in the lucrative Bahamian market and companies looking for Bahamian agents/distributors for their products are invited to attend. The Bahamas are the leading market in the Caribbean for both U.S. beef and U.S. pork. In the first 11 months of 2004, the U.S. exported 3,924 metric tons of beef (including variety meat) and 2,703 metric tons of U.S. pork products (including variety meat).

Wild Boar Now Eligible For Export To Barbados

U.S. companies can now ship wild boar to Barbados. See Barbados in the FSIS Export Library of Requirements for details.

Pork Cannot Be Exported To Serbia

U.S. pork and pork products are no longer eligible for export to Serbia because export certification requirements have not been agreed upon. See Serbia in the FSIS Export Library of Requirements for details.
