U.S. Beef Ban Lifted in Trinidad & Tobago

A statement from the Caribbean Basin Agricultural Trade Office announced that Trinidad & Tobago has lifted its ban on imports of U.S. beef. The Caribbean nation will accept both boneless and bone-in U.S. beef and beef products slaughtered after January 12, 2004, from USDA-inspected plants providing air-injected stunning is not used, and no specified risk materials, mechanically separated meat or advance recovery meat is included.
