Johanns Will Discuss Court Ruling On Canadian Cattle At 11:00 a.m. Eastern

USDA Secretary Mike Johanns will provide an update on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision overturning a ban on imports of Canadian cattle at 11:00 a.m. Eastern. Johanns will also discuss the next steps necessary to allow the BSE minimum risk region rule to be implemented and provide an update on his discussions with government officials in China and Madagascar.   USDA Chief Veterinarian John Clifford will also participate in the discussion of the BSE situation.
