Fine Food Australia Offers Opportunity For U.S. Exporters

Attracting more than 30,000 "trade-only" buyers, decision makers and representatives, Fine Food Australia provides an array of opportunities for food companies to interact.

“For U.S. companies interested in marketing their products in the Australian market, we believe that Fine Food is the one show you should be in to meet the Australian market,” said USDA Agricultural Counselor Kathleen Wainio.

USMEF will have an information booth at the show where members can participate and meet with visitors. Many major Australian small goods manufacturers are expected to attend as participating companies showcasing their products or as visitors, giving USMEF members an ideal opportunity to network.

This year Fine Food will run Sept. 11-14 .in Melbourne at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Center. To assist U.S. exporters interested in attending the show, the Foreign Agricultural Service in Canberra is organizing exhibition space, while U.S. Commercial Service in Australia will be available to assist U.S. exporters in setting up requested appointments with distributors.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please contact (AgCanberra@usda.gov) for further information on the market and services that will be available to exhibitors in the U.S. Stand at Fine Food 2006.
