WASHINGTON, Jan 20 (Reuters) - If Republican lawmakers want to pass a huge, catch-all federal funding bill, they must allow country-of-origin labels to appear on meat packages beginning this fall as a safeguard against mad cow disease, Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle said on Tuesday.
