The Department of Agriculture cold storage report shows total red meat supplies in freezers were 1 percent below that of Oct. 31, 2003, and 17 percent below November 2002 levels. Frozen pork stocks were 2 percent below last month, and 5 percent below last year. Stocks of pork bellies were 60 percent above last month and 88 percent above November 2002 stocks.
