Japan to insist all U.S. beef be checked-minister
TOKYO, April 23 (Reuters) - Japanese Agriculture Minister Yoshiyuki Kamei said on Friday that Japan was sticking to its demand that the United States check all slaughtered cattle for mad cow disease as a prelude to resuming imports of U.S. beef.

SYDNEY, April 23 (Reuters) - Futuris Corp Ltd's <FCL.AX> rural services unit, Elders Livestock, on Friday signed a contract with China's Xuzhou VV Group for the sale of dairy cattle worth more than A$6.5 million ($4.8 million), Australian Trade Minister Mark Vaile said in a statement issued in Australia.
