Japan confirms 11th mad cow case
TOKYO, March 9 (Reuters) - Japan confirmed another case of mad cow disease on Tuesday, its 11th since the brain-wasting illness was discovered in the country in September 2001 and the second in about two weeks.

Japan announces BSE false-positive
The Kyodo news service reported a 16-year old cow from the Miyagi Prefecturethat tested positive for bovine spongiform encephalopathy does not have the disease.

Cow Cleared
Further tests confirm that a cow inJapan was not infected with BSE.
