Japan Beef Import Prices Up 3-5% Since Safeguard Measures
In just one month since the government imposed safeguard measures on beef imports from Aug. 1, prices of fresh imported beef have risen by about 3-5 per cent, according to figures tabulated by the Agriculture Ministry.
