FSIS pays for inspection during regular hours, but charges when inspectors must remain at a plant or travel to a plant after 8 hours of work or during holidays.
Hormel Expanding Growing Plant
Hormel Foods will expand its processing operation in Rochelle, Ill., by 27,500 square feet to add a new line to process microwaveable entrees, according to the Associated Press, and will remodel the plant’s existing 25,000 square feet.
