South Korea to decide on U.S. beef at month's end
The Ministry of Agriculture in Seoul said that a meeting to be held on Nov. 29 will decide the fate of beef from the United States.

Japan - no rush to import food
Japan has no intention of moving quickly to open up its market to foreign food imports in spite of hints from Junichiro Koizumi, prime minister, that Tokyo is considering important concessions in the interests of global free trade, the agriculture ministry said. 

Record lamb supply
An 18 percent increase in lamb production adds to an already bulging supply.
