Japanese food industry pressures government to end beef ban
Nine major food industry associations representing thousands of restaurants, food processors, distributors and other food interests, as well as 409 food-related unions, called on the Japanese government to quickly end its ban on imports of American beef on terms acceptable to both governments and to Japanese consumers.
