Japan, U.S. Ban Canadian Beef
The Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry and the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry Wednesday halted all imports of beef, processed beef products and cattle from Canada, after receiving a report about the first BSE case in 10 years in the North American country.
