USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service has posted a Questions and Answers document (Q&A) to provide additional guidance regarding the Production Information on Post-Lethality Exposed Ready-to-Eat Products (Form 10,240-1) affecting establishments that produce RTE products. This Q&A supplements 9 CFR 430.4(d), which states that "..an establishment that produces post-lethality exposed RTE product shall provide FSIS .. with estimates of annual production volume and related information for the types of meat and poultry products processed..." in accordance with that section.
