Hormel and Excel sign joint venture agreement for case ready beef and pork
Austin, Minn.-based Hormel Foods Corp., and Wichita, Kan.-based Excel Corp., have signed an agreement to form a joint venture to nationally market branded fresh case ready beef and pork under the existing Hormel Always Tender brand name. Hormel's Always Tender brand, which has consisted primarily of pork will now be supplemented by Excel's premium beef.
