Australia beef zeroes in on U.S. stake in Japan
SYDNEY, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Australian beef exporters are homing in on significant sales to Japan, already their biggest market, after Tokyo's ban on U.S. beef over a mad cow scare.
Japan blocks sale of 'at risk' U.S. beef
The Japanese government told meat wholesalers not to sell American beef products they have on hand that are considered at risk of carrying bovine spongiform encephalopathy, the Associated Press reported.
