Malaysia Lifts Ban On U.S. Beef

Although the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced today (March 7) that Malaysia is lifting its ban on imports of U.S. beef and will allow boneless beef from animals “less than 30 months of age,” exports cannot resume until the agreement is finalized and the online FSIS Export Library of Requirements has been updated. Only plants approved by Malaysia will be eligible and listed on the FSIS Web site.
