U.S. Beef Makes A Difference At Ho Chi Minh City Festival

The funds collected by USMEF for samples of U.S. beef dishes from visitors at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will be donated to charitable organizations, helping the community while also showing U.S. beef producers care about their customers – no matter where they reside.

The festival, held June 20-22 in an open-air park, attracted more than 100,000 visitors. The three-day event promoted cultural and tourism activities.

USMEF provided U.S. beef for the event and worked with the Saigon Professional Chef Club to prepare dishes for visitors.

USMEF ASEAN Regional Chef Sabrina Yin developed a beef barbecue sandwich and beef pasta dishes for the event. Both dishes utilized the cost-competitive U.S. beef short plate.
