Mexican farmers, government agree to start talks

MEXICO CITY, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Mexican farmers and the government agreed on Tuesday on a timetable for talks on rescuing the countryside, which is suffering from fierce competition from imported products from the United States and Canada.
