AgTC: TSA Withdraws Capacity Agreement
The AgTC reports that the Federal Maritime Commission demanded additional material from the TransPacific Stabilization Agreement and imposed review time after formal written comments from the AgTC and others about a recent TransPacific carriers proposal. The proposal was that shippers begin to agree on capacity, both vessels and containers, that they will collectively, and individually, deploy in the U.S.-to-Asia trade.
