AgTC Summarizes Key Issues for Members

The Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC), at the request of some of its members, has prepared summaries of key current issues, which are available on request to all AgTC members by e-mailing info@agtrans.org. The issues covered are:

1.      Overview: Container and Ship Space Capacity
2.      Bunker Fuel Calculation
3.      Ocean Carrier Collective Pricing
4.      Automated Export System (AES) Revisions
5.      New portcheck Fee Collection at Ports LA and Long Beach
6.      Importer Security Filing - 10+2
7.      Additional Import Requirements under the Lacey Act

Each of these issues will be explored with the best industry and government authorities at the AgTC Mid-Year Conference in Chicago, Dec. 10-11. Online registration is at www.agtrans.org.
