USMEF provides members with several engagement opportunities. USMEF’s two annual meetings highlight USMEF’s international program activities and other key topics of interest to the industry. USMEF’s product showcase and participation in domestic and international tradeshows offers members the opportunity to meet qualified buyers and increase sales.
USMEF participates in a variety of domestic and international tradeshows. Members are encouraged to participate in these events to develop connections within their target export markets. Branded Product Program funds are available for participants in certain tradeshows.
Registration Open for USMEF Trade Mission to Accra, Ghana, April 7-9.
USMEF’s first trade mission to Accra, Ghana, is set for April 7-9. Registration is now open for this event, which connects exporters of U.S. beef, pork and lamb with targeted buyers from across the African continent.
The trade mission will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
A hotel room will be complimentary for participating members and meals will be provided, but participants must pay for their own alcohol. USMEF can assist with flight costs, but participants will need to use a U.S.-based airline carrier. There are a number of U.S. carriers that fly direct from the United States to Accra, Ghana.
