USMEF Hosts Pavilion at One of the World’s Largest Trade Shows

Exporters of U.S. beef, pork and lamb met with buyers from around the globe at a U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) hosted pavilion at SIAL Paris, one of the world’s largest food trade shows.
USMEF President and CEO Dan Halstrom explains that more than 200 countries were represented at the trade show. He reports that many of the importers from across Europe voiced interest in U.S. beef despite supply constraints.
On the pork side, discussions showed an opening for expansion of U.S. market share as EU pork production continues to contract.
