Matt Copeland, Africa representative for the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF), was part of the delegation visiting Kenya on a recent USDA trade mission.

In this USMEF Audio Report, Copeland notes that the African continent presents a tremendous opportunity for protein demand, particularly for variety meats. While post-COVID expansion of e-commerce in Kenya, in particular, opens up food retail to nearly every corner of the country.
